FENDER JAZZ BASS – 1972

SERIAL NUMBER: 340505
NECK DATE: 0541 illegible
DATE: 1972

This all original Jazz bass looks and sounds absolutely right ! The offset waist and contoured body
gives a superb balance that makes Jazz basses so comfortable to play. A great low action with no
buzz makes this a joy to play.
The Jazz bass also had a much slimmer neck, making fretting an absolute pleasure.

The twin pickups gave the Jazz bass much more tonal variation in sound than its predecessor, the
Precision, and when amps became capable of handling these sounds by taking advantage of these
improvements, the Jazz bass really came into its own.

An outstanding instrument, combining a balance of low end bottom and bright tops makes this
probably the most versatile of all basses.
