FENDER PRECISION BASS – 1965…SOLD !

SERIAL NUMBER: L45082
NECK DATE: NONE
DATE: 1965

Play this bass and understand why the rich and famous play old Precision basses!

The name ‘Precision’ because before this bass, there were only double basses – obviously fretless and difficult to play in tune for the untrained ear.

With the Precision, now for the first time it was possible to hit the right note every time and in tune !

No other bass captured the thump that goes with the notes on a Precision. It’s the sound that really laid down the framework for a zillion hits.

This bass has an air of ‘Jaco’ coolness about it [ for those in the know ]

Badass bridge,
Brass nut,
Uber powerful Precision pickup,
Added Jazz bass pickup at the bridge,
Clay dot markers,
Rosewood fret board,
Plenty wear and pizazz!

A ballsy, thunderous vintage hot rodded instrument.
$4900
